Building an inclusion strategy that actually means something

Online webinar · Thursday 12 November 2026 · 15:45–16:45 (UK time) · £25 per person

A practical starting point for school leaders: define your vision for inclusion, identify barriers and turn your ambitions into clear priorities for action.

An inclusion strategy should help you make better decisions for children and young people. But how do you turn a broad commitment to inclusion into something clear, practical and useful?

Join Jamie Rogers and Pupil Pathways for a webinar exploring how to build a strategy that reflects your school’s context, identifies barriers to participation and learning, and connects your ambitions to everyday practice.

We’ll consider what inclusion means in your setting, how to involve pupils, families and staff, and how to choose meaningful priorities. We’ll also explore how targeted support and inclusion bases fit within a wider approach, and how to judge whether your strategy is making a difference.

Whether you’re starting from a blank page or reviewing an existing plan, you’ll leave with useful questions and practical starting points to take back to your team, and the structure and format ready to write up your thinking.

Who should attend? Headteachers, school and trust leaders, SENCOs, inclusion leads and local authority colleagues involved in developing or supporting inclusion strategies.
